Don’t Hit Quit Hit Restart

Why “Don’t Hit Quit Hit Restart”

In a dark time in my life I was playing a video game with my nephew who was unaware of my thoughts. When you play most video games, they give you an option when you “die”, to choose to “Restart” or to “Quit”. While speaking to God with the phone in my hand and my nephew in my lap, my nephew saw that I was about to hit the “Quit” button, he said to me with the innocence of youth and kind sincerity, “Uncle Shaun, Don’t Hit Quit, Hit Restart.” I was very moved by his statement and felt without a doubt that this sentence held much more weight then that of a video game, as I felt that God was speaking through this little boy to keep my spirits up and to save me from myself.

Sometimes all we need is the right words at the right time, I Know I sure did.

And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
